Its Been Awhile

Well... I'm back. Its been almost a year since I have written last and its weird to think how different my life is right now from that time. So much has happened that I don't even know where to begin. I finally have a breather at work so I figured it was time to do a post. I think the best way to show life is through pics, so I am going to post some of my favorites of the past year!!

Death in 3's

I have to say, this has been a pretty rough month for me. It is amazing to me how death usually comes in threes. Someone who is very dear to me passed away this weekend of bone cancer. Bishop Farlow was my old bishop from my singles ward days and was the man who married Damon and me. He is such an amazing person. Probably one of the most influential people in my life. I loved him so much. He made it so easy to talk to and everyone who came in contact with him couldn't help but fall in love with him. He was hilarious, had a heart of gold, and was so welcoming. He made sure that he met every single new person and then would go around and introduce them to people in the ward so that they felt comfortable. He used to call me and my roommates his Charlie's Angels. I am going to miss him so much. I know that the Lord must have some heavy duty work for him right now. He is someone who has touched so many young peoples lives and I know will never be forgotten.

I just want to tell you Bishop how much you mean to me and Damon, and you will forever be in our hearts. Thanks for all of the talks, laughs, cries, and years of memories that we shared. Thanks for being someone I could look up to and someone I felt like was family. Thanks for always being there for me when I was down and sharing all the happy moments with me. Thanks for being a spiritual giant and inspiration. You are seriously one of my heroes and I am so grateful that I was blessed to have crossed your path in this life. I'll miss you, but know that I will see you again. I love you.

My Little Bae

I remember coming home from Christmas and my mom and Cara started telling me about how they almost bought the cutest black lab for my mom. (If you know my family at all, you would know that we are OBSESSED with black labs! They steal our hearts every time) I convinced my mom to take me there to see her. I just remember walking in, going to her kennel, and right as she looked up at us,we all knew. She was meant to be in our family. Brady, Cara and I bought her right then for my mom for Christmas. She was the first dog that we have ever (or at least that I have ever) bought at an Animal Shelter. It was such a great experience. I suggested naming her Baelee and it just fit. She was seriously the best dog, so loving and obedient. She brought so much joy to our family and especially my mom. She was my mom's best friend and followed my mom everywhere. She was by her side through the good times and the bad. Calli liked to think that Baelee was her dog as well. I felt bad for Bae because Calli would pull on her ears, legs, do steam roller and hit her thinking she was being playful, and Bae would just sit there and look at us like..."Um, please help."

Baelee decided to eat something that ended up getting stuck in her intestines and by the time they figured out what it was it was too late. We had Baelee for about 3 years, but it seems like she was in our family forever. Our hearts our broken and we miss her dearly. Thanks for all the love Bae. We love you.

DAMON- My Hero

Damon and Heath were on their way to the Hot Tub and then decided that they were going to be super heroes as they were getting ready to leave. Oh... I married a 14 year old. I love him.
He's looking over the city to see where there is crime
and they're off...
Brown chicken Brown Cow!

It was Damon's 32nd Birthday yesterday! He is such an old man... I married an oldie but goodie. For his birthday we had a little party at our place and watched the superbowl. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work. We made so much food it was crazy. My friend Debby suggested I do a life size cake of Damon and then we decided together to maybe only do it like 3'. It turned out really well. It is so funny. Here are some pics!

WORKING MY LIFE AWAY

So I am sorry I have been pretty much MIA, but its because I have literally been working 10-16 hr days every day for about a month. Not one day off... needless to say I am exhausted. But I find this a great opportunity to show everyone what I actually do for a living. Here are some photos of the events we just did and some of my favorite events in the past:

Golden Globes After Party

Grammy's Celebration After Party
By far one of my favorite events! Circus theme with so many cool performers. So fun! These pics don't even do it justice.

Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational
